Dream Eater

Dream eaters feast on the subconscious thoughts of living creatures, gaining abhorrent knowledge in doing so. Their origins are mysterious; was it the consuming of dream-stuff that warped him into such abominations, or were he always monsters? Perhaps both options are true.

To devour dreams is to taste their fears, their desires, their memories, and hopes. It is a bittersweet taste, to take upon oneself the swirling anima of the subconscious self, the wakeless truths of the soul.
